Key job responsibilities

• \tDefine the strategy for infrastructural readiness program for large-scale robotics deployment;

• \tOwn complex scheduling, resource balancing , and financial modeling for Transformation initiatives and programs;

• \tCollaborate effectively with Hardware, Pre-Construction, and Construction teams, facilitating constructive dialogue, resolving conflicts, and building consensus among these stakeholders;

• \tAnalyze data, devise metrics, and build dashboard structures to track impact of programs on deployment, including cost savings, deployment efficiency, and scalability;

• \tMonitor the progress of Transformation team goals, ensuring prompt updates and reporting to leadership;

• \tPartner closely with technical leads to assess the business impact of new initiatives and recommend the best strategies based on quantified benefits, costs, and operational impacts;

• \tDevelop a technical understanding of Transformation programs, such as Infrastructure Readiness, which seeks to proactively develop technical system and product studies and introduce optimized deployment mechanisms for our partners;

• \tPrioritize actions across stakeholders, develop a clear RACI to drive accountability, and ensure focus on the highest value activities;

• \tManage vendors for utility studies across 5+ sites concurrently;

• \tWork with stakeholder teams to determine the appropriate escalation, review process, and resolution for delivery blockers;

• \tAbility to travel domestically up to 50%;

The Transformation Team is part of the larger Deployment Readiness organization within WorldWide Tech Deploy (WWTD). Our team technically advises and leads innovative solutions that ensure cutting edge deployment capabilities to deliver consistent year over year resource efficiency. Our mission is to develop technology, tools, and engineering solutions to enable the scaling and delivery of automation technologies within Amazon.

As a Tech Transformation TPM, you will work closely with systems development engineers and cross-functional teams to improve the quality and productivity of automation deployment for Amazon's fulfillment network.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- Experience working directly with engineering teams

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- • \tBS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Physics, Operations Research, Finance, or equivalent

- • \tExperience working across teams, defining program requirements, and optimizing cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery

- • \tConfidence operating independently and working with ambiguity

- • \tAbility to deliver in a fast-paced environment

- • \tExcellent verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering

- • \tExperience devising metrics, tracking goals, status reporting to leadership, and analyzing business impact of programs/initiatives

- • \tAbility to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs, and evaluate new concepts with technical leads

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
