Product Training Specialist (Chandler, AZ)

The Product Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering product training to both internal and external customers. This role will ensure the training center is effectively resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups (including Product Technical Support, Product Company, Customer Center managers, Service Training Centers, Instructional Designers, and Customer Representatives). The Product Training Specialist is also responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Training Center including maintaining training aides, product demos, and facilities equipment.

The Role:

• Support Edwards Service and Sales organizations in installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of all Edwards equipment installed onsite.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in a direct customer facing role
• Deliver product training to external and internal customers
• Travel as needed to provide training at a customer's location
• Obtaining all relevant documentation required to operate product Demos
• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all training equipment and support facilities
• Develop and maintain up to date training curriculum
• Develop local procedures and BKM for training facility
• Develop and maintain Risk Assessment Binder
• Monitoring training feedback and performance indicators
• Maintain all expense accounts used for training center, travel, and meals
• Maintain badging access to local customer sites as required

What We Expect of You?

Education/ Experience

• Degree in technical discipline. 2 year degree is highly desirable (Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)
• 3-5 years of Semiconductor experience in similar technology.
• Comparable technical military experience (Mechanical, Avionics, Machinist Mates, Electrician Mates, Electronics Technician)

Knowledge areas/Skills

• Experience or knowledge of instructional design and training delivery.
• Experience in conducting technical training with a focus on Operations and Maintenance.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Excellent business writing and verbal communications.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs.
