Overview
As a part of the Boeing | TMCF HBCU Investment, the Boeing Regional Technical Talent Development Hub is a highly competitive program that seeks to provide resources to develop a technical talent development triage between the local Boeing Site, current Priority HBCU and/or surrounding technical HBCUs. This two-day, all-inclusive engagement will provide candidates with increased knowledge, including skills training that will ultimately prepare satellite HBCU students to compete for both professional and technical roles within The Boeing Company and expand Boeing's current reach within the HBCU talent development space. The Boeing Regional Technical Hub Development will be held November 13-14 in St. Louis, MO. Please Note: Applicants must select the location closest to their region when applying.

Qualifications
Technician
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
- 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools.
- Experience reading engineering blueprints/drawings
- Basic computer skills
- Fluent in both verbal and written English
- Experience using basic math (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Must be a minimum of at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US citizenship
- Experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- 1+ years of experience operating non-automated Stand-alone test equipment.
- 1+ years of experience with electronic measurement and test equipment.
- 1+ years of experience troubleshooting fault isolates complex electronics systems.
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Test and troubleshooting experience of advanced Electronic Systems (i.e. Electro-Optical Guidance Systems, Radar Tests and/or RF Seeker)

Mechanic
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with assembly, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation
- Experience working with structural, mechanical, electrical or other systems
- 1+ years of experience working in a tool fabrication environment, CNC machine shop environment, manufacturing or assembly environment or large structure fab
- Experience using Hand and/or air (pneumatic) tools
- Typical education includes: technical trade school degree or certificate, appropriate apprenticeship completion, high school diploma, or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aircraft assembly experience
- Currently hold or have held a security clearance in the past 24 months
- A certificate of completion for the Assembly Mechanic program
- 1+ years' of experience in programming & operating CNC machinery
- Experience with CAD/CAM Software, or MasterCAM, or Verisuf software
- Experience using manual fabrication machines and equipment, inspection, or manual inspection and CPU driven equipment
- Experience with safe heavy load lifting via forktrucks, mobile or overhead cranes
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) & NASA Assembly Soldering Specifications
- Experience with J-Std-001.
- Experience with circuit card and/or electronics manufacturing
- Experience performing soldering and electronics repair to the component level
- Experience working on military aircraft
- FAA A/P License

Applicants interested in applying must adhere to the following:
- Must not have any disciplinary infractions on academic record
- Candidate for Fall 2024 OR Spring 2025 graduation
- Some positions must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required "US Person" Includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Enrolled at one of the proximal HBCU/HBCCs OR sourced through an organization with the National Talent Bank
