Job Description:
  • PURPOSE OF JOB :
Assist staff technologists and radiologists with essential functions involved in daily operation of the Clark Breast Imaging Center (WDC).
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
  • Prepare completed mammography studies for interpretation by the radiologist. Retrieve all prior studies for comparison purposes.
  • Prepare all appropriate paperwork for Health and Wellness Center (HWC) mammography patients for interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Track all films/CD's received into WDC from outside facilities. Document when outside films have been returned to the original facility.
  • Knowledge of the PACS system, review workstations and computer systems.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Education: High school graduate.
  • Experience: Prior medical office experience preferred.
Knowledge of mammography preferred.
  • Other Skills: Good communication skills. Accurate recording and documentation skills. Ability to work in a timely manner under pressure. Ability to work well with technologists and radiologists and meet their needs.
