Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Technology Installer Specialist to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:

Technology Installation & Configuration :

• Install, configure, and test a variety of technology systems, including networking equipment (routers, modems), smart home devices (thermostats, cameras, locks), and audiovisual systems (TVs, sound systems).

• Set up and integrate computers, printers, and other peripherals for seamless system performance.

• Work at various heights and spaces (ladders, attics) to install equipment and run cables where necessary.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting :

• Provide both on-site and remote support to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues quickly and efficiently.

• Perform routine maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Offer training and guidance to staff or clients on using installed systems and equipment.

Documentation & Reporting :

• Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and technical support activities.

• Generate reports for management, highlighting system performance, recurring issues, and customer feedback.

Technology Awareness :

• Stay updated with the latest developments in technology, including emerging

trends and products.

• Offer informed recommendations to improve the client's technology experience.

Qualifications :

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Associate degree or relevant technical certifications in networking, electronics, computer science, or a related field is a plus.

• Experience in technology installation, cable installation, networking, IT support, or related technical fields. Self-taught professionals with strong hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various technology systems, including networking equipment, smart home devices, audiovisual systems, and computer hardware/software.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in both field and remote environments.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.

• Experience with client consultation and providing technology training is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, as well as at heights (climbing ladders).

Location: 7540 Ed Bluestein Blvd. (work day starting location dependent on Assigned project)

Days: Monday - Friday, Saturdays as scheduled

Hours: 30 - 40 hours weekly, Flexible Schedule per Assigned project

Salary: $22 per hour
