Piper Companies is looking for a Telecommunications Engineer to join a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD . The Telecommunications Engineer will develop electrical and special systems design drawings and specifications associated with power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage designs.

Responsibilities of the Telecommunications Engineer include:

• Create electrical and special system design drawings
• Effectively use AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs for projects
• Conduct calculations for power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage designs
• Collaborate with architects and other teams/departments

Qualifications for the Telecommunications Engineer include:

• 3+ years of experience
• Previous experience using AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of forms and procedures of the engineering and construction industry
• Experience with low voltage systems (audiovisual, telecom, ethernet, etc.)
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Architectural Engineering with an Electrical Engineering concentration from ABET accredited college or university

Compensation for the Telecommunications Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
