Telecommunications Engineer

Exciting opportunity for a Telecommunications Engineer to manage the global telecommunications infrastructure. Avaya experience is required.

*This is a full time, hybrid role which can be based in New York, NY or Boston, MA

Responsibilities:

• Manage enterprise IP PBX telephone system and related voice applications.
• Implement VoIP, SIP Trunking, and Unified Communications technologies.
• Coordinate system changes, vendor relationships, and carrier management.
• Provide end-user training and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Stay informed about emerging telecom technologies and trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of telecom experience.
• 1-5 years of VoIP and UC application experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Avaya Aura version 8 and data networks.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
