Job Summary

The Telemetry Monitor Technician is responsible for accurate record keeping, observation of monitors and prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm changes . As the Patient Care Technician, individual will interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT), Medical Assistant (MA) Certification, or equivalent


  • Monitor Tech Certification, or completion of a basic dysrhythmias course with documented competencies


  • BLS Required


  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred
