The Tele-sitter provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients via video-monitoring. Interacts with individual patients while “rounding”. Provides verbal redirection to prevent patients from engaging in at risk behaviors and notifying the nursing staff if patient requires assistance. The Tele-sitter carries out various clinical responsibilities as well as documentation of tasks and supports and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous Health Care experience required. Previous clinical/direct patient care experience preferred.
Nursing Assistant Certification or Patient Care Certification preferred
Full command of English Language.
Computer skills; excellent communication skills.
