Summary:

The Research Coordinator will be responsible for independently preparing and analyzing existing data sets about behavioral health disorders. They will be expected to identify patterns in the data sets and think critically about health disparities represented by the data. They will then prepare and submit a manuscript using the analyzed data.

Essential Functions:
  • Independently clean data sets in Microsoft Excel and transfer data to SPSS Statistics
  • Independently analyze data using Microsoft Excel and SPSS Statistics
  • In collaboration with the PI, draw conclusions from the data about disparities in incidence of behavioral health disorders among a primary care population
  • In collaboration with the PI, draw conclusions from the data about the association between behavioral health disorders and primary care health outcomes
  • In collaboration with the PI, draw conclusions about the association between successful connection to behavioral health outcomes and primary care health outcomes
  • In collaboration with the PI, theorize about possible interventions to help improve both behavioral health outcomes and primary care health outcomes
  • Draft abstract, introduction, methods, and results sections of a manuscript using the data with the goal of submitting the manuscript to a high caliber primary care journal

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's in Psychology or related field that develops an understanding of behavioral health disorders. At least 2 years of experience in behavioral health (or related) research. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
