Why does the job exist?

The purpose of this position is to monitor the New Mexico Works program performance and conduct program evaluations, case management reviews, and data entry audits specifically for the Wage Subsidy and Career Link Subsidized Employment Programs to ensure participants are being appropriate evaluated for eligibility and referral outcome measures are met

How does it get done?

The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for providing program knowledge and support to the TANF Team for the Wage Subsidy and Career Link Program. The Subsidized Programs Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with their TANF Quality Assurance Supervisor and the Subsidized Employment Program Coordinator to meet deadlines for quality reviews and audits and program improvement initiatives. The TANF Quality Assurance Analyst will conduct regular case management and program audits to provide leadership and management with measurable data for tracking progress and performance, identify trends regarding program referrals and outcomes, and provide feedback to TANF Staff, Supervisors and Staff Managers on policy and procedure when appropriate.

Experience documenting and reporting on case reviews
Ability to embrace diversity and difficult personal circumstances in serving customers and colleagues of varied backgrounds and learning styles.
Excellent listening, written and strong verbal communication skills with ability to work independently as well as effective team member.
Attention to detail and accuracy, strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through in a timely manner.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite as well as ability to learn software and database programs

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some statewide travel may be required to include overnight stays. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Office setting. Sitting for long periods of time viewing computer monitor. Repetitive hand movement. Standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs. Use of computer, copier and telephone.
