To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
  • Assists flight commanders in providing data as requested by the Commander's Support Staff in support of administrative programs. Programs include, but are not limited to task management, evaluation reports, decorations, fitness program, safety program and security program as needed.
  • Assists flight commanders in the preparation, maintenance, and disposition of administrative reports, and other correspondence.
  • Acts as the point of contact for all newly assigned aircrew; orients personnel regarding the basic functions of the organization, introduces them to key personnel, and schedules their initial training/orientation requirements.
  • Coordinates with UDM if needed to schedule required pre-departure training with the deploying personnel and their supervision.
  • May assist and/or provide deployment data/information that enables the Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) to schedule/coordinate with wing, base and higher headquarters offices on deployment issues to maintain mobility and training folders/documentation.
  • Prepares and submits a list of requirements for purchase in support of aircrew deployment to the UDM and resource advisor as needed.
  • Provides aircrew pre-deployment/post-deployment mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, and dental requirements to the UDM.
  • Assists flight commanders if needed with data collection for deployment reporting in the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS), and the Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool (ART) including Unit Type Code posturing and individual status updates and provide to commander and UDM.
QualificationsMinimum Qualification:
  • Experience working in a squadron-level or higher commander support staff and/or at least have experience with two of the applicable programs: task management, fitness program, safety program, security program, personnel evaluation reports and decorations, or manning is desired.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Must have a minimum of a high school degree or equivalent of a GED.
