What's the Job?

The Human Resources Advisor/ Senior will provide the department with direct support on a broad range of HR matters including full-cycle recruitment, worker's compensation, and human resources administration. This role will collaborate with the HR Coordinator on the employment, worker's compensation, and administration best practices, policies, procedures and compliance.

The individual selected for this position should possess discretion in handling details of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. They should be collaborative, as well as assertive and confident, model professional demeanor and integrity and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency as the role acts as an extension of the leadership team. They must have the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, have excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail. They should also have excellent business writing, proofreading, and communication skills.

Travel:

If you are selected for this position, and meet the Driver Safety Standards in the City of Austin Driver Safety Program, you may drive when necessary to multiple locations as part of your regular job duties. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting to and from these locations.
