About the Opportunity
This position will assist with the planning and execution of all official and unofficial visit
What You'll Do
- Manage preparing credentials and pre- and post-visit forms
- Assist with recruit communication (ARMS ticket link completion, sending invites/itineraries, gathering guest names, etc.)
- Manage recruit check-in on event days
- Manage recruiting student workers during office hours and on event days
- Ensure Puskar Center and other WVU facilities are set up/torn down pre- and post- recruiting events
- Host recruits and guests while on campus, including giving facility and campus tours
- Assist with vendor and campus partner communication
- Advance recruiting meals and events for set-up/pre-check
- Assist with letter writing preparation and strategy
- Assist with the planning and execution of team, staff, donor, and special events
- Assist with reconciling receipts for PCard purchases
- Build and maintain culture of the program
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or HC
Pay Grade: 12
Length of Assignment: 8.5 Month
Qualifications
- Associate's degree.
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience in college athletics.
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

- Maintain high standard of ethics and integrity related to intercollegiate athletics
- Demonstrated knowledge, including terminology, of NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics
- Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA and conference guidelines, policies, rules and regulations with the ability to interpret, apply, enforce and explain such policies and rules
- Maintain knowledge of state and University policies and procedures
- Exhibit strong creative, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of proper English in verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to function professionally under high stress and confrontational circumstances
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks for an extended period of time
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan and organize work
- Proactive attitude towards work and assignments
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Demonstrated knowledge of record keeping and adherence to schedule
- Ability to stay abreast of information impacting the affected area
- Ability to maintain proper unit attendance and punctuality standards, work extended hours including nights and weekends (often with extensive walking and standing)
