Terrace Server Attendant

Job Summary . • Quickly clear dirty table wipe it with moist towel or rag for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service-ware as prescribed.• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.• Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.• Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.• Replace soiled table linens with fresh supply.• Complete all required side-work.• Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests. Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekday evenings, weekends and holidays.SALARY RANGE: $17.00 - $19.00 PER HOUR Requirement . • Requires the ability to lift and carry object weighing up to 35 pounds. • Walk or stand for carrying lengths or time, sometimes for extended periods of time of 6+ hours.• Requires considerable repetitive motion of hands, wrists and fingers as relating to carrying, serving, and lifting objects.• Activities include standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, handling, lifting, carrying, seeing, hearing, talking, walking. • Must be able to effectively work with a variety of internal and external customers and staff.• Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests.• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
