Job Description:

A Software Test Analyst 2 is a senior tester role responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manual and automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and efficiency of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and advise cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance (QA) analysts, and product managers, to execute the testing strategy.

• Design, develop, and maintain test cases, tools, and scripts to validate business rules and business functionality.

• Execute automated and manual test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, and usability testing.

• Create and execute SQL scripts to be used for test validation.

• Identify and create reusable test data, particularly for automated testing.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve software quality.

• Monitor and report test automation metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

• Participate in software release activities, including test planning, execution, and post-release validation.

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills:

• BS (Computer Science) or Equivalent

• 3+ years of experience as a software applications tester.

• Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts in Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments.

• Experience with system, integration, and regression testing.

• Understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
