Test Automation Developer

An Insight Global client is seeking a Test Automation Developer to design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of their software products. This person will be working alongside the manual and automated testers to review the manual test cases and convert them to selenium for the automated testers to execute. These will be both internal and external facing Java based applications so prior development in this language will be crucial. You will be working on both Mobile and Web based applications.

Responsibilities Include:

* Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.

* Collaborate with software developers and QA analysts to understand product requirements and create test plans.

* Integrate automated tests with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the automation framework and test scripts.

* Document test procedures, results, and any defects discovered during testing.

* Stay current with the latest industry trends and tools in test automation and software development practices.

Required Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in test automation development.

o Strong coding in Java

* Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.

* Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems like Git.

o Gitlab for repository.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Appian platform experience

* C# experience for load testing
