Test Automation Engineer/ Audio Hardware Automation

Akkodis is seeking a Test Automation Engineer/ Audio Hardware Automation for a Contract job with a client in Culver City CA. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in Python skills

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Test Automation Engineer/ Audio Hardware Automation job responsibilities include:

• An automation engineer who can develop and execute automated test scripts using Python to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of client audio products.

• Design and maintain test frameworks and test suites for various audio products.

• Collaborate with the development team to understand product specifications and develop appropriate test strategies.

• Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions and outputs.

• Continuously improve the automation strategy and coverage by keeping up with the latest testing tools and techniques.

Must have skills:

• Python/Coding Skills

• Debugging Skills

• Strong Analytical/Problem-Solving Skills

What are some "nice-to-have" skills:

• Tableau

• Bluetooth Protocols

• Hardware Testing for Audio Devices

Skills:

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Knowledge of source control systems, preferably Git.

• Familiarity with Bluetooth protocols or similar wireless technologies, and/or Sensors.

• Proven experience in testing Bluetooth products or similar wireless technologies.

• Experience in working with different operating systems, primarily Linux.

• Experience with bug tracking tools (i.e JIRA).

Must-haves for Automation Engineer:

• 3-5 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on test automation and framework development.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Excellent debugging skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in testing HW.

• Experience in testing Bluetooth protocols/profiles.

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Pay Details: $42.00 to $46.00 per hour
