THE OPPORTUNITY
The Test Engineer is responsible for executing an end-to-end test plan and participating in managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems. To make sure that testing is well defined, planned and executed. The engineer does this by ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live. The Test Engineer will work with other QE team members and be involved in the creation / up keep of the testing roadmap which includes testing standards and procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Active participation in both the current state and future state of test planning and execution, including, but not limited to, functional, integration, regression, and performance/load testing
• Collaborate with SCRUM teams to incorporate the effective creation of test cases and plans into each sprint cycle
• Collaborate with senior test engineers to implement / maintain manual testing best practices
• Assists in development of a detailed technical roadmap that aligns with our product vision across different business functions
• Subject matter expert in full-stack of 1-2 products/projects
• On-time delivery of tests committed to, test plan creation, test plan execution, and test results reporting
• Increased functional, integration, and regression testing feature coverage
• Proven track record implementing testing strategies and reporting solutions
• Working knowledge of common software architectures (web/mobile/API/DB)

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or systems related discipline required.
• 2-3 years' relevant experience in a Test Engineer or similar QE/QA function role.
• Proven track record implementing testing strategies and reporting solutions
• Experience contributing to a testing roadmap
• Working knowledge of common software architectures (web/mobile/API/DB)
• Proficiency with cloud technologies (either AWS or Azure).
• Experience with TFS or Azure DevOps, Agile process improvement, CI/CD automation, MS Build, NPM or other packages.
• Ability to work in complex pre-production environments
• Professional attitude, leading by example
• Driven and passionate about quality engineering, software development, and agile methodologies
• Experience in the food, restaurant, eatery or consumer industry a plus
• Have great communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business units.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $117,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
