All of the responsibilities below will happen over time:
Responsible for planning and leading all design specification tests, such as making test plan/schedule, performing tests, contributing to developing countermeasure with design engineers in case of non-conformance, and making/reporting test results according to development schedule.
Plan and lead the design specification of the equipment to test
Work with the design engineers and communicate with team
Report test results
Work closely with other departments with design engineers, making plans, perform the tests
Guide them and oversee what they are doing
Review and approving the reports that test techs have completed
Analyzing the results
Documenting of the test measures

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Test Engineering or Quality Assurance
- Familiarity with testing, quality or validation methods and tools
- Ability to design, execute and report test cases and results
- B.S.M.E or B.S degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution preferred, Degree requirement may be waived for candidates with equivalent work experience
- Experience in plastics, injection molding or similar industries is required
- Have strong skills in math, writing, and communication
- Can read and understand blueprints, drawings, etc.
Can use basic measurement devices such as force gauge, digital meter, thermometer and etc.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
- Automotive background
- Bilingual: Japanese
- Operate Catia or CAD system
Robotic knowledge
