Job Description:

L3Harris is searching for talented Test Engineering Technician candidate to join the L3Harris team where the candidate will support production and RMA testing, troubleshooting and fault isolation of the IFCS HIMARS program.

Essential Functions:
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties
  • Work with little to no supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures
  • Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures
  • Lean, continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications:
  • Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • Minimum 2 years experince troublshooting.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office)
  • Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, power meter, network analyzers and good troubleshooting experience a must.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
  • Component level troubleshooting and fault isolation.
  • Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to work occasional weekend, off-shift, and overtime work.
