Qualifications:
  • 5+ years for a Lead (2-4 years for an Analyst) in the role with:
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in project work, process management, and quality assurance
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Testing Tools: ALM, Jira, and ServiceNow
  • Knowledge and experience of Performance Testing: ALM Performance Center
  • Knowledge and experience of Automation Testing: UFT, Gherkin, Ruby, Jenkins, Cucumber
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL coding for extracting data to verify outcomes
  • A proven track record of leading strategic projects combined with the ability to execute tactical project-level activities and tasks
  • Experience as a change agent having effectively implemented change in large cross functional organization
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • A strong sense of self-motivation and drive who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • ITIL v3 or v4 a plus


Responsibilities :

Test Lead will:
  • Manage the creation of a Test Plan across the functional and technical test team members
  • Manage the development of the test scenarios and test scripts
  • Ensure the proper resources (including technology, personnel, and processes) are set up in order to conduct manual testing and/or utilize automation tools.
  • Maintain the test scripts and track quality assurance metrics that meet or exceed the PMM requirements.


A NiSource Test Lead/Analyst will:
  • Develop, publish, and implement test plans
  • Write and maintain test automation scripts and use available automation tools where applicable
  • Develop quality assurance standards as well as define and track quality assurance metrics
  • Participate in and support all Service Processes and ensure adherence to Customer's technical standards
  • Ensure compliance with Application and Security system requirements
  • Maintain an understanding of the Application and Business functionality to be tested.
  • Work with the business lead to understand the end-to-end business process & identify test scenarios
  • Review and understand project-specific requirements
  • Ensure proper traceability between test scripts and requirements
  • Review test xcripts for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify and ensure all data needs are met for all levels of testing
  • Conduct regular defect meetings during testing in order to identify, clarify, and ultimately resolve defects
  • Providing daily program level testing metrics & reporting
  • Conduct weekly program level status report/status meeting
  • Update/Complete any PMM (Project Management Methodology) required documentation
