Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Technician for a contract opportunity in Stratford, CT.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Work from mechanical schematics and engineered drawings.
o Work with Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, vendor and customer representatives during definition, buildup, testing, and acceptance operations.
o Perform functional checkout and operational/component testing of mechanical systems, and ground support equipment installations including the operation, and maintenance of associated support equipment.
o Analyze test documents to identify test facility problems and develop corrective action.
o Recommend and make refinement to equipment, sub-assemblies, test and integration processes.
o Work from engineering drawings, schematics, work orders, technical documents and formal direction.
o May be required to perform duties around hazardous conditions while maintaining a safe working environment.
o Possess technical skills and abilities to work in a team environment with minimal amount of supervisor instruction or direction.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Experience operating non-automated Stand-alone equipment.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Mechanics Trade school
o Prior military mechanic experience
o Prior experience associated with aircraft hydraulics and mechanics.
o Prior experience associated with large industrial hydraulic power supplies and distribution systems.
EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

5/40 work schedule
2nd Shift
