Testing Center Assistant (Administrative Associate 2 - MR04)

The Testing Center Assistant will assist in the testing center to allow for accommodations in evening courses. The position will assist the access coordinator during the afternoon then manage the testing center in the evening. The Testing Center Assistant is responsible for monitoring exams, providing appropriate accommodations, securing completed exams for delivery, communicating any concern to the coordinator, and securing the building at the end of each day.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting with the management of testing services for students receiving testing accommodations; monitoring evening exams; managing the work schedules of proctors, readers, and scribes for the exams; administering a variety of testing accommodations ranging from extended testing time, to Braille, or alternate computer systems for testing; working collaboratively with the access coordinator during afternoon hours; picking up exams and delivering exams; setting schedule for evening hours; and working with coordinator to manage the workflow of the testing center.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant experience (understanding of college testing environment).

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and understanding and limited experience working with people with disabilities (paid or unpaid).
