The Human Factors Integration Capability Developer

Background: The TRADOC Proponent Office - Sustainment Mission (TPO SMC) is the Soldiers' representative for all things related to the data integration of sustainment information systems. TPO SMC is a user advocate for current systems and coordinates, develops, integrates capabilities and requirements for future systems. TPO SMC integrates and coordinates concepts and Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) solutions across the full range of military operations and synchronizes activities with the Army Staff and agencies on behalf of the Army's Senior Responsible Official, the CG TRADOC. TPO SMC develops and reviews the documents necessary to coordinate, integrate, describe the capabilities needed to be added or improved and see their progression through the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and the Business Capability and Acquisitions Cycle (BCAC) processes. CASCOM requires Contractor knowledge, expertise, and support services for the SMC to develop capabilities in the areas of concepts, doctrine, force development, materiel systems and modeling, and simulations work that CASCOM is not resourced to perform in-house.

Requirements:
  • Have at least two years of experience reviewing capability development and Integration efforts.
  • Have experience developing, reviewing related contents of developed CRDs and JCIDS documents to ensure that the requirements are accurate and identify required capabilities needed to implement SMC concept.
  • Be capable of providing written recommendations to the COR for the TPO on SMC concepts and capability development issues.
  • Be capable of working with other members of TPO SMC to integrate Human Factor requirements and capability integration recommendations.
  • Be capable of providing HSI and analyzing the process by which to design and develop systems that effectively and affordably integrate human capabilities and limitations to ensure that HSI is included as an integral part of a total system approach to systems development and acquisition.
  • Have subject matter expertise in HSI areas: Human Factors Engineering, System Safety, Health Hazards, Personnel, Survivability, Manpower, Personnel Training, and Habitability.
  • Be capable of reviewing and providing comments on documentation that is staffed within SMC.


Education : Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
