Title: Fan Engagement Specialist

Position in Corporate Structure: The Fan Engagement Specialist (the "Individual") will report to the General Manager and Director, Ticket Sales of the Lake County Captains (the "Company").

Individual Duties:
  • Be an active member of the Company sales staff by being involved in the sale of all ticket packages and group events.
  • Aggressively identify new business development and sales meetings with prospective accounts.
  • Maintain a consistent and robust pipeline of prospected accounts.
  • Perform daily updates to Company sales database to ensure accurate record-keeping and maintain an accurate database of all sold accounts and current/potential leads.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, bringing ideas to the staff for discussion.
  • Assist the ticket sales department with its in-season and post-season customer service program.
  • Identify and present opportunities to grow personal accounts.
  • Oversee and coordinate designated Company group "projects", including developing a written plan to coordinate and deliver a successful year-round program; report on all potential contacts and organizations and weekly updates to the sales staff on the progress made in your category/event.
  • Work to execute the renewal and new sales process for ticket packages.
  • Exhibit a willingness to attend events outside of normal business hours in an effort to grow personal and departmental business.
  • Understand and properly execute the sales process for booking ticket accounts, including: processing payments, tickets and paperwork.


Other Duties:
  • Assist in various administrative duties related to the ticket sales department, as needed.
  • Maintain an extraordinary attention to detail and excellent time management skills, which are an absolute requirement to acceptable job performance.
  • Attend and represent the Company at appropriate community events, especially events that will improve ticket sales.
  • Along with the ticket sales staff, research ways to improve the ticket sales department.
  • Be a leader in customer service for all office and nightly staff.
  • Be a leader to all office and nightly staff in "getting the job done." Remember, the people who work for you will rarely work harder than you.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner.
  • Work as the member of a SALES TEAM, and Have Fun!!!
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by the General Manager.
