Completion of graduate core program in field of public health, health administration, preventive medicine, social work, nursing or other health-related field, or public policy & management/public administration or business administration; 12 mos. exp. in planning & administering health program(s), with education & experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
OR
4 yrs. exp. in planning & administering health program(s), with experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
OR
12 mos. exp. as Health Planning Administrator 1, 65245, with experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
OR
Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

The Title V CYSHCN Manager oversees programs for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) within the Ohio Department of Health. This includes planning, development, and implementation of CYSHCN program initiatives.
- The manager collaborates with other ODH programs, state and local agencies, and national NGOs.
- They provide technical assistance and support to CYSHCN programs, and assist with grant applications, monitoring, and agreements.
- The manager also directly supervises staff and ensures program activities run within budget.
- They lead the development of a statewide plan to improve health outcomes for CYSHCN, and take a leadership role in applying for and implementing the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant.
- Additionally, the manager prepares reports on program performance and updates, attends meetings, and represents ODH on CYSHCN policy matters.
