Qualifications
To Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, insurance & risk management or related field of study; must be able to provide own transportation.
-Or 2 yrs. exp. in public or private insurance organization position that involved insurance sales, marketing or provision of consultative services to commercial clients/employers; must be able to provide own transportation.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
Note: May require use of proficiency demonstrations to determine minimum class qualifications for employment.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Under general direction, works independently to manage portfolio of assigned employers to consult & assist regarding premium rates, NCCI manual classifications, BWC's rating, discount & incentive programs, available grants, and the importance & necessity of loss control programs.
- Provide loss control consultation (i.e., efforts to reduce both employer premium costs & workers' compensation claims by improved safety & hygiene, work environment & policies) within assigned employer account portfolio and works with Employer Programs to enroll employers in the loss control programs.
- Review assigned employer protests and appeals in the Complaint Tracker and issue a decision to grant or deny based on BWC rule and policy.
- Works with other BWC Departments (e.g. Finance, Collections, Employer Programs, Policy Processing, Policy Underwriting, Premium Audit, Business Consulting, Legal, Claims, Safety & Hygiene) to resolve employer problems such as coverage, jurisdictional, prospective billing invoices, true-up, estimated annual premiums, & independent contractor issues.
