The EAST2 Quality Assurance team currently has an opening for a TOSCA Automation team member. The candidate would work additionally with HP s Quality Center supporting NASA on the EAST 2 Contract. The TOSCA Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automated tests using the Tricentis TOSCA software suite. The role involves creating test cases, test scripts, and test data, as well as configuring and maintaining test environments. The engineer works closely with development, QA, and operation teams to integrate automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring the highest quality software releases.

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain TOSCA test automation scripts and frameworks that meet the company's testing requirements.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify and report defects, and follow through on resolutions.
• Work with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions.
• Enhance, extend, and maintain test automation libraries and frameworks.
• Ensure that automated tests are integrated and executed reliably in the CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments and automation execution.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve automation strategies, processes, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies and integrate them within the test process when beneficial.
• Provide support in the analysis of system specifications to meet business requirements, including providing inputs during the initial design phase.
• Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality.
• Contribute to the creation of performance testing strategy and execution.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

Desired Education:

• Bachelor s Degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Management/Information Systems, or other related degree.

Required Experience:

• Experience in a NASA or other government agency environment a plus.
• Experience in TOSCA and HP Quality Center a plus.
• Experience working with computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of TOSCA Automation Engine creating regression automation testing scripts.
• Create functional test cases and automating applications using TOSCA to help improve accuracy of QA results.
• Experience as a Software Tester leading implementing of Tricentis Tosca.
• Ability to maintain good working relationship with NASA counterparts.
• Ability to understand role of policies, processes and procedures in the EAST 2 Contract.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to project and maintain a professional and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and orientation toward meticulous work.
• Ability to listen and understand customer expectations and concerns; translate customer concerns to appropriate organizations and management.
• Understanding of NASA s IT environment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of IT networks and communication systems.

Clearance:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
