Summary

The following positions are open to interested applicants that attend the Total Army Career Fair on Sept. 6-7, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Total Army Career Fair will have hiring managers from IMCOM G9 NAF Financial Management and NAF Contracting Divisions.

You must bring a copy of your resume and any support documents, such as DD 214.

You must also supply contact information for two professional references, if selected.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.

1. Management Analyst - NF-0343-04

One year specialized experience directly related to the duties described above which includes experience with finance and accounting principles by interpreting financial reports (i.e. balance sheets, income statements); interpreting business reports (i.e. inventory reports); developing solutions to complex managerial issues based on analysis; and utilizing Microsoft suite to produce complex data reports, such as pivot tables, databases, etc. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for specialized experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

2. Financial Analyst - NF-1160-04

Work experience which includes:1) interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems;2) interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; and3) requiring the application of commercial budgeting techniques.

3. Financial Analyst - NF-1160-04

Required extensive work experience in government and or commercial financial management that provided a comprehensive knowledge of the financial and business principles, policies, practices and detailed procedures applicable to hospitality and recreation operations. Extensive knowledge of financial management tools, analyses, and utilization of automated systems. Documented experience must have been equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower grade/level. Knowledge of DOD and Army protocol, administration procedures, and chain of command and staff relationships. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Comprehensive knowledge and aptitude for automated systems and standard computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applications, to include spreadsheet, database, word processing, resource management, commercial off the shelf accounting package and electronic communication packages.

4. Budget Analyst - NF-0560-03

Knowledge of basic principles and practices of budget formulations in order to prepare written funding justifications, consolidate budget requests, request additional funds, and monitor expenditures against obligations for specified programs. Skill in balancing funds between accounts; i.e., transferring funds between line items or sub-projects or identifying excess funds for possible transfer to other operating programs.

5. Management Analyst - NF-0343-04

Demonstrated knowledge of overall mission, functions, organization, objectives, procedures, and their relationship to the administrative support activities of the Family and MWR. Detail knowledge of NAF Budgets and financial statements, procurement, and supply operations.

6. Developmental Contract Specialist - NF-1102-03/04

Experience in a customer service environment which provided a basic understanding of principles and concepts of contracting. Must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software.

7. Contract Specialist (Skill or Intermediate) - NF-1102-04

(Intermediate) Qualified candidates will possess experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level to include:1. Experience demonstrating knowledge of basic acquisition regulations, policies, laws, and techniques for simplified acquisitions.2. Experience applying simplified acquisition contracting principles, techniques, methods, and procedures of contracting.3. Experience evaluating offers for responsiveness, price reasonableness, and responsibility. 4. Basic knowledge of sources of Government supply and services, including established and mandatory sources.

(Skill Level) Qualified candidates will possess work experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level to include:1. Experience applying contracting principles, regulations, laws, and procedures needed to perform pre-award and post-award procurement for actions that are non-complex. 2. Experience managing the full source selection process. 3. Must have experience in technical writing pertaining to documents such as contracts, acquisition plans, source selection documentation, or other correspondence with stakeholders. 4. Experience applying contract administration principles and practices needed to monitor contractor performance, manage Contract Officer Representatives, or to solve problems related to matters such as contract modifications, disputes, payments, performance issues, or similar.
