Job Summary

The Senior Total Rewards Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Total Rewards Department, providing comprehensive support to the Director of Total Rewards and serving as a knowledgeable deputy in their absence. This individual is responsible for aligning total rewards strategies with organizational objectives, managing compensation and benefits programs, conducting data analysis, and facilitating communication and education initiatives. While not directly managing a team, the Senior Total Rewards Analyst serves as a trusted advisor, contributing expertise and leadership to enhance the effectiveness of total rewards programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strategy Alignment and Implementation:
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Total Rewards to align total rewards initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive total rewards strategies to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
• Contribute insights and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
Program Management and Administration:
• Oversee the day-to-day administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation and benefits matters, providing guidance and support to HR colleagues and employees.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to compensation, benefits, and employee demographics.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key insights and trends.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to inform decision-making and enhance the impact of total rewards initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and senior leadership.
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits programs, providing timely and accurate information.
• Develop communication materials to educate employees on total rewards offerings and changes.
Project Support and Special Initiatives:
• Support the Director in the execution of special projects and initiatives related to total rewards, such as annual compensation reviews, benefit plan redesigns, and system implementations.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts and collaborate with external vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Take ownership of specific project tasks and deliverables, ensuring successful completion within established timelines and budgets.
Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition:
• Participate in compensation surveys and benchmarking activities, analyzing data to inform compensation decisions.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
• Support the development and administration of recognition programs to promote a culture of appreciation.
Employee Communication and Education:
• Develop communication materials to educate employees on total rewards programs, including compensation structures, benefits offerings, and recognition initiatives.
• Conduct training sessions or workshops to enhance employee understanding of total rewards and foster appreciation for organizational investments in employee well-being.
• Serve as a resource for employees to address questions or concerns related to compensation, benefits, or recognition
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must meet each of the following requirements (Experience and education may be substituted for one another as appropriate)
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, or related HR functions.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Suite, most importantly in Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
• Knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

PREFERENCES:
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR
