Trade Finance Analyst Intro
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trade Finance Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract basis, with the potential for a six-month extension. This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on-site at our office located at 250 Vesey Street, 23-24 FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing transactions related to Standby Letters of Credit in our Trade Services Center NYA, ensuring compliance with U.S. laws/regulations, Bank's procedures/policies, and international trade practices.

- Role Responsibilities:
- Handle end to end processing of Standby Letter of Credit transactions.
- Ensure all activities and transactions are processed in accordance with the Bank's Standard Operation Procedures and compliance regulations.
- Prepare and review Standby Letters of Credit drafts.
- Respond promptly and effectively to requests, concerns, and complaints from customers and internal teams.
- Handle daily and monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage the billing process for out-of-pocket expenses related to SBLC transactions.
- Handle investigations to respond to client inquiries.
- Champion a customer-focused culture and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Trade Finance Analyst Mandatory Skills
- 1-2+ years of banking experience in Trade Finance operations.
- Knowledge of International Banking and Trade Finance operations.
- Working knowledge of ISP98, UCP600/ISBP.
- Excellent skills in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with SWIFT messages related to Trade Finance transactions.
- High level of attention to details and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team.
- Ability to remain calm and effective during high-pressure situations.

Trade Finance Analyst Desired Skills
- Working knowledge in the T360, BESS, LoanIQ, CorrRisk, TLM, GTX systems is a plus.
- CDCS certification is a plus.
