The Transportation Supervisor assists the Director of Case Management overseeing the operations and productivity of the transportation department. This role provides ongoing Quality Improvement monitoring to make sure departments are adhering to current policies and procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform work, which involves the frequent lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing of 100 pounds with occasional heavier lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (with help). Employees in this position will require the mobility to stand, climb, stoop, reach and bend. Persons in this position require the mobility of arms to reach and dexterity of hands to grasp and manipulate objects of heavy weight at high pressure. Persons in this position require vision (which may be corrected) to reach the small print.

- Current California Driver's license required
- Minimum two years' experience in a professional healthcare setting
- Non-emergency transportation office experience is a plus
- Typing: 45 WPM

Duties
- Ensures smooth daily operations and progress towards established goals.
- Aides in departmental personnel matters pertaining to employment, training and grievances of employees.
- Able to fulfill positions of biller/scheduler when needed.
- Transportation Oversight
- Oversees the daily transportation schedule and provides recommendation to better utilize personnel and resources.
- Takes after hour sick calls and updates schedule with changes.
- Make sure new hires are adequately trained and ready to perform the job independently.
- Monitors driver's education requirements and makes sure they are completed before becoming delinquent.
- Assist with transportation billing.
