Assignment Details - Licensed Intake Therapist

• Specialty: Behavioral Health
• Location: Clive, IA
• Flexible Start Date
• Duration: 13 weeks with potential to renew
• Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 5x8 schedule
• Shift: Day shift, 8:00am-4:30pm, 11:00am-7:30pm, 12:00pm-8:30pm, 1:00pm-9:30pm
• Enhanced hourly rate & tax-exempt stipend where applicable
• Bi-weekly pay
• Paid travel to/from assignment
• Opportunity for overtime

Job duties to include:

• Perform social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health
• Complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and provide referrals as needed.
• Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients' functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients' treatment team.
• Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan.
• Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
• Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Travel Therapist Job Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or a related field required
• Licensure/Certifications: licensed in the state of Iowa as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), may consider non-licensed; must have current CPR and Mandatory Reporter for Adult/Child
• Experience: one or more years' experience in a mental health setting preferred
