JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be the first point of contact for Universal Vacations guests arriving into Orlando International Airport. The team at the airport will welcome all arriving guests and ensure their vacation package needs are fulfilled. This position will check guests in for their SuperStar Shuttle experience, monitor arriving flight information communicating any delays with their leadership team and partner with our third party transportation provider.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greets and welcomes all UPRV On-Site Guests ensuring their prepackaged vacation planning kit is correctly fulfilled.
  • Communicates with third party transportation company any delays and utilize their systems to check guest in.
  • Provides quality guest service, books various service and product reservations, by being knowledgeable of UO parks and area attractions tickets and information.
  • Processes transactions in Automated Ticketing System for the printing and distribution of park admissions media, annual pass products, and other attraction products.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team, multi-task and conduct presentations.

EDUCATION:

High school degree or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with computer ticketing system preferred.
  • One to three years in a guest service position with face-to-face customer contact preferred.
  • Second language a plus
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Microsoft Windows experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Must be able/flexible to work mornings, evenings, week days and weekends.
  • Telephone etiquette strongly desired.
