Job Description:
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a passion for pediatrics? We are seeking a Travel Pediatrics RN to join our dynamic team in Rochester, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children while exploring a new city!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric patients in a variety of settings.
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for children with diverse medical needs.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient progress.
- Educate families on treatment plans, health maintenance, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adapt to different clinical environments and work as part of different teams.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of New York or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to different clinical settings and shift patterns.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
