Insight Global is seeking a Network Field Engineer to support our client's sales team throughout the state of Ohio. This team is responsible for the scoping, design, bidding, and execution of network implementation/improvements in school buildings across Ohio. This person would travel with the client executives to scope and build out SOW requirements, design the network layout, and assist in the beginning project implementation. This is a client facing role and does require travel with your own vehicle.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of networking technologies and/or manufacturers, including routing, switching, wireless, fiber and security.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to internal and external stakeholders.
Must be capable of going to client site(s) and documenting/taking inventory of the locations of networking devices and their proximity to each other.
Sketching or using a drawing program to convey a sites layout.

Frequent travel is required

Pay range: 23-27/hour

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of the E-Rate program and its application process
Knowledge around security cameras and access control is a plus.
