Primary Responsibility / Summary



Drives bobtail truck as assigned, delivering and collecting goods from retail locations. Unloads and loads at each stop with little to no assistance.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Regularly inspects vehicle and fills out daily inspection forms using Geotab APP on Company assigned phone.
  • Complies with company safety procedures and Department of Motor Vehicles regulations.

  • Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.

    3. Loads, secures and unloads goods according to Route Manifest received from Dispatcher, Lead or Supervisor.

    4. Completes assigned route efficiently. Between 30-40 minutes to unload and reload at each location.

    5. Ensures all related paperwork is filled out correctly and takes pictures of Manifests and Supplies.

    6. Presents friendly, cooperative attitude at all times; is well-groomed at all times, wearing company issued vest, shoes and gloves.

    7. Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, obeying all road signs and speed limits.

    8. Must have a valid California driver’s license. Driving records must meet the requirements of company’s insurance carrier.

    9. Ability to lift, carry and push up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8 hours.

    Education & Experience
    • 1-2 years of class C driving experience preferred .
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    • Ability to work with only moderate supervision.
    • Spanish / English bilingual preferred.
    • Bobtail knowledge preferred.
    • Air brakes experience required.
