TS/SCI Control Technician - TCF

An employer is seeking a Senior Control Technician in the Dahlgren, VA area for a contract to hire opportunity. This resource will be joining a team of 7 technical individuals to support the technical control facility (TCF). Responsibilities will include the, maintenance, and support of technical control functions on Government owned and leased circuits, equipment, and facilities, for equipment exchange of communication. You'll be providing the support of all TCF encrypted and unencrypted communications. Other responsibilities will include the configuration, maintenance, and installation of all circuits associated with the data lines. This includes distribution frames and associated panels, jacks, and switches and monitoring, test, and conditioning and you will also support the operational control of communications paths and facilities, makes quality analyses of communications and communications channels, monitors operations and maintenance functions, identify and correct deteriorating conditions, restore disrupted communications, provide requested on-call circuits, and take or direct such actions as may be required and practical to provide effective telecommunications services and operate cryptographic equipment and devices. You'll also provide cable install, repair, and upgrades to communication devices related to TCF.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of TCF (Technical Control Facility experience)
- COMSEC or encrypted communications equipment experience
- Security + Certification (DoD 8570 IAT II)
- Active TS/SCI

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- 5+ years as a TCF technician
