TS/SCI VMware Systems Engineer

Insight Global is hiring a TS/SCI Systems Engineer to join our team 100% onsite at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, NE. This person will join a team to provide systems engineering on VMware systems including providing support on ESX and Horizon. Responsibilities will include:

* Developing and implementing complex virtualized architecture systems

* Providing advanced support to IT systems where you are the solution provider

* Full lifecycle implementation from installs to deprecation

* Drafting and updating technical requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes

This position can pay between $55-75/hr depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

* TS/SCI clearance

* Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of experience - OR no degree plus 10 years of experience - within VMware Systems Engineering including the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

* Comfortable using VMware ESX and Horizon

* DoD 8570 compliance IAT Category Level II Certification (Sec+ or other)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

* VCP Certification
