We are seeking a reliability engineering focused Network Administrator to join our National Security Region (ONSR) Operations group to contribute to availability, performance, security, and procedural improvements in our large-scale production cloud networks. We want to speak with you if you enjoy Network automation, performing deep root cause analysis, and building or scaling greenfield environments. Desired skills include familiarity with software engineering concepts, NETCONF, Linux, routing protocols such as BGP, MPLS, OSPF, and IS-IS, and Network security engineering to align with NIST and DISA security frameworks and policies. Experience with monitoring and telemetry tools such as time-series databases, Grafana, webhooks, and APIs is a plus. Supports the deployment and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI). Primarily focused on operation and escalation support of network incidents and through a combination of networking administration skills and DevOps workflows to leverage the intensive automation used in our production cloud environments to restore, scale, or build networking services. Network Admins will participate in Network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects. Collaborate with program/project managers to develop milestones and deliverables. Will primarily use existing procedures and tools to develop and safely execute network changes. However, may have to update procedures from time to time. Contributes to the development of roadmap issues. Participate in operational rotations or shift work. Provide break-fix support for events. Serve as escalation point for event remediation. May help to develops scripts to automate routine tasks for the team and business unit. Submits network vendor software bug fixe requests. Provides technical support and guidance to user
