Ultrasound Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging
Full-Time (36 hours - 3 x 12s, including Saturdays)& PRN position.
Summary:
Perform various ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and breast imaging. Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate patient diagnosis using advanced ultrasound equipment. Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the electronic medical record system. Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results. Follow established policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- Current ultrasound registry (ARDMS or equivalent)
- 1-2 years experience as Ultrasound Sonographer
- Vascular and breast imaging experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independent
