Job Duties

The Ultrasound Tech will perform high quality Ultrasound images for interpretation by our Radiologists. To use appropriate training and skills to deliver quality services. Responsible for maintaining current quality assurance and agency standards in the provision of services. To back up the EKG technologist when necessary. The Ultrasound Technologist will provide timely and accurate imaging to patients on the DBHDS Southside Campus utilizing the Ultrasound Machine recently purchased. The position of Ultrasound Technologist will increase patient care due to being able to send images directly from facility to the radiology group that would make for a more efficient and faster read time.

This position is eligible for Quasi-Full Time Status (32 - Hours Per Week).

Minimum Qualifications

-Board certified or eligible by either the ARRT (US) or ARDMS. If eligible must pass boards within 6 months of start date.

Additional Considerations

- Dual certification in Ultrasound and x-ray a plus
- VASC Certification preferred
- American Heart BLS
