Ellison 12 Medical unit is in search of a highly motivated and dedicated individual with Night shift availability; to join our team as a Unit Coordinator, A highly effective communicator must be able to do rotational holiday coverage and weekends.

The 36-bed adult Medical unit is located in Boston, MA, USA. Ellison 12 is devoted to the care of the acutely ill medical patient. The patient population on this unit includes a diverse mix of medical diagnoses requiring complex nursing care. We are only considering full-time applicants for this permanent Night shift opportunity.

• Unit Coordinators are responsible for managing information and facilitating communication between patients, families, and medical staff. Accuracy and effective interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree preferred

• Medical or health care experience desirable, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and procedure

• Demonstrated ability to solve basic patient and practice problem
