While we are most well-known for adding beauty and structure to communities through high-performance buildings and smart infrastructure, we provide much more than that. We create an unshakable foundation for progress because our multidisciplinary teams also include scientists, economists, builders, analysts and artists. It is our goal to provide the training mentoring and workload required to develop our professionals into fully competent service providers. To support this goal we encourage all of our team not only to be leaders in their respective areas of technical expertise but to also learn key consulting skills such as managing budgets and schedules, communicating with clients, marketing/business development and presenting to various audiences. We offer over 40 in-house training programs to assist with developing these skills. This approach allows our employees to develop professionally and pursue various career paths without ever leaving the HDR family. We are interested in individuals with the desire to pursue a career in this type of culture and encourage interns and new graduates to help lead HDR into the future. Qualifications

Qualifications

Interns: Currently enrolled in a civil, environmental, mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering program. Prefer 2+years completed toward degree and 3.00 GPA. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD experience preferred. An interest in Energy, Water, Transportation, or Building Engineering would be highly recommended.

New Graduates: Graduated with a degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering program. Prefer internship experience with an engineering consulting firm. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD experience preferred. An interest in Energy, Water, Transportation, or Building Engineering would be highly recommended.
