The Unreal Engine Software Engineer will provide object oriented design and C++ development and simulation integration support for Science and Technology programs with a robotics focus supporting the US Army Research Development Centers.

Essential Job Functions

Perform software requirements analysis, design, coding and documentation.

Perform integration of autonomy technologies with Unreal Engine 4 based Modeling & Simulation software environment.

Perform development of Unreal Engine plugins to support M&S environment for autonomy testing.

Provide support for integration of simulation components within hardware-in-the-loop environments.

Support software implementation in C/C++, Python, and shell scripting on various operation systems.

Support modeling & simulation of robotic vehicles including dynamics, sensors, power systems, and articulations.

Required Skills & Experience

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

2 years of programming experience in C++ and object oriented analysis and design.

Must be proficient in Unreal Engine 4/5, ROS / ROS2, Linux and Networking concepts.

Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of Atlassian Tools - Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitLab.
