Summary

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and supervision of a RN, midlevel practitioner or physician, provides supportive care to the Urgent Care and MEUC patients. Performs technical tasks according to established protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year medical office assistant, certified nursing assistant, or current patient registration experience required. Two (2) years preferred.
• Able to act independently and make decisions under stress as necessary.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.
• Urine Drug Screen (UDS) and Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) Certification required within three (3) months of hire , if applicable.
• Certification as an Office Lab Assistant or Lab Assistant within 2 months of hire, if applicable to site (Urgent Cares only).
• Basic computer skills required for:
• • Accessing and navigating CTRH intranet for forms, policies and procedures.
  • Accessing and entering data on organization wide software such as etime and Outlook email.
  • Accessing and using internet and specific applications required to perform job duties.
