Insight Global is hiring a US Occupational Health Nurse Lead for a leading Semiconductor company. The US Occupational Health Resources Manager will be responsible for the leadership, oversight, and execution of the US NXP Occupational Health strategy and programs. This manager will lead the standardization of practices and procedures on treatment of injuries and illnesses, response to medical emergencies, and management of programs such as OSHA injury and illness recordkeeping, restrictions and accommodations, medical leaves, bloodborne pathogens, ergonomics, medical surveillance testing, and workers compensation. The US OHR Manager will partner with US Site EHS managers to align on the Occupational Health programs and ensure resourcing to manage on-site nursing needs and responsibilities. This manager will also collaborate with and guide the global nurse teams on standardized practices and has potential to evolve to a global role.

Day-To-Day:
- Lead and ensure continuity and coverage for US Health Clinics including ensuring nursing assessments and care are provided for walk-in health center clinic and respond on-scene to medical emergency events.
- Provide and perform case by case initial assessment of injured or ill employees or contractors to evaluate nature and extent of condition and determine appropriate work status.
- Ensure and provide direct nursing care in accordance with standing delegation orders, and established procedures. Make appropriate medical referrals and conduct follow-up evaluation.
- Respond to medical emergency situations and communicate pertinent information according to established procedures. Maintain awareness of the physical and chemical agents present in the workplace and the symptoms of exposure.
- Oversee and practice case management through coordination of health care services from the onset of work-related injury evaluation, through worker's compensation injury/risk/claim management, disability and absence management, return-to-work evaluation and return to work or an optimal alternative
- Maintain accurate and current documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and established policies and procedures.
- Support and fulfill rotating on-call responsibilities that include telephonic triage of site medical emergency events in collaboration with on-site medical emergency response team members.
- Perform filing, medical record updates, inventory checks, and supply ordering.
- Develop, implement and evaluate education, training and awareness programs for occupational health programs.
- Seek and share occupational health industry trend information.
- Maintain appropriate medical confidentiality.
- Act as resource for and maintain compliance with federal, state and location-specific regulations and internal standards.
- Ensure and perform clinical skills including, but not limited to, blood draws, medication administration, physical assessment, pulmonary function testing, hearing testing, and respirator fit testing.
- Act as liaison between employees with health concerns and supervisors while maintaining medical confidentiality to communicate work status and coordinate return to work accommodations.
- Identify and communicate employee work-related health concerns and safety issues to other Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) personnel.

Required Skills & Experience
- AS in Nursing.
- RN license in TX or AZ, or ability to obtain in - Certification in Case Management by ABOHN or CCMC.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Clinical nursing experience in a hospital or other acute care environment.
- Soft Skills:
Ability to interact effectively with direct staff, peers, and all levels of management.
Written and verbal communication, organization, time management, attention to detail, and customer service.
Ability to work well independently and under changing conditions.
- Able to work flexible hours for the performance of regular duties and to respond to accident sites day, night, or weekends.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- BS or advanced degree in Nursing.
ABOHN Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S).
