The Senior US Regional Demand Planner is responsible for leading the US Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. The Demand Planner is the main point of contact for the Marketing and Sales organization and is required to apply E2E supply chain knowledge to support business goals and objectives. Other responsibilities include coordinating the US inventory strategy and planning activities, driving US service levels, product allocations, and delivering on key performance indicators including forecast accuracy, customer service, and inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead US Regional Supply Chain Planning activities including regional demand forecasting and regional supply distribution requirements planning. Lead IBP Meetings, including adherence and compliance.
  • Responsible for generating 24-month consensus forecast for all products (new products, end of life, and base business) in partnership with Marketing & Sales; using statistical forecast and new product modeling where feasible.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, GBI and Finance to identify and incorporate market intelligence (events) into the demand forecast.
  • Provide analytical and technical supply chain support for the assigned product portfolio and acting as a liaison between functions.
  • Develop detailed execution plans and manage demand plans for new product introductions and life cycle management as required and aligned with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
  • Develop contingency plans for sales and inventory changes.
  • Identify and drive service level improvements and inventory reduction initiatives.
  • Compile insights from E2E Supply Chain partners to manage and communicate supply chain risks to the commercial organization.
  • Perform supply chain activities related to network planning (inventory allocations and available to promise) and optimizing inventory in the distribution network.
  • Responsible for achieving service OTIF-D, mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and forecast accuracy (Bias) targets and driving continuous improvements.


Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Master of Business Administration is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of related experience is required.
  • Experience in medical device, consumer or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
  • Experience with one or more of the following areas is preferred: inventory/planning/order management/ ERP or MRP computer systems/financial processes.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships (externally & internally)
  • Ability to set clear priorities, problem solving, and influence decisions effectively is required
  • Previous experience in supply chain, demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, network planning, S&OP/IBP is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
  • Proficient in advanced analytics and data visualization software design and usage (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Alteryx) preferred
Other:

  • Up to 10% domestic/international travel required
  • Lean, Six-Sigma, IBF and/or APICS certification preferred


The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $121,900.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
