In the role of Civil Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

• Provide project engineering and utility coordination with a focus
• on transportation projects and public transportation clients throughout the Southern California Region. Anticipated work
• tasks may include; develop utility basemaps, coordinate with utility owners and agencies, develop relocation strategies,
• assist in preparation of cost estimates, preparation of engineering plans, specification for utility relocations, and data analytics such as GIS and Power BI. Will work
• independently as well as assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/
• task. Will be involved in highway and railroad utility design and plans production for utility owners and Municipal clients.
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Familiaritywith MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience withcivil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or AutodeskInfraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) asrequired
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
